Rushed

So rushed this week to prepare for a ladies' event at our church this weekend! We just found out today that we have too many people to use our original venue for the whole retreat. A great problem to have, but a problem none the less. I had already told the school where I've been working for a few weeks that I wasn't available Friday, but now I'm thinking that I might have to be out part of Thursday as well.

I am speaking Friday and feel that God has graciously shared His word.

I am speaking Saturday and feel that God is being slow to share His word.

Pray for me, please!

Thanks, sweet sisters!

Blessings,
Ginger

  1. Ginger, I pray that God will give you his words for Saturday (soon!).

Over on my blog, there's a post about a scholarship to the She Speaks conference. Maybe you should apply. You have such a tender heart for God's word, I think you'd be a great participant at the conference (I was thinking you and Lauri should apply for the scholarship). Just sayin'. :)

  2. Praying He would guide you and speak through you both nights, and for a new venue for the ladies. Trusting Him.

  4. Don't you love how God waits 'til the last minute sometimes to give you His word. Don't you worry, it'll be there. I'll be praying for you too!!

  5. So nice to meet you! Thank you for visiting me at Imparting Grace!

The very first grammar post I wrote was about "its" and it's." Seems that many people just never learned that a possessive pronoun doesn't require an apostrophe. Maybe you'll be in the classroom teaching them next year!

Blessings on you this weekend. May the Lord speak to you, and you to your audience, in beautiful ways.

  6. LORD,
    May Your prevailing peace
Help Ginger's feelings of rushing to cease
As she boldly shares Your Word
Let Your will and way be heard
Believing LORD, that You will provide a meeting place
We thank You in advance for Your Amazing Grace. AMEN.

    Love and prayers,
    Lora

  8. Since you haven't posted much, it was much easier to 'catch up' with you. ;-) Your words have been rich even if you think not. As I clicked to open your blog, a peace seemed to sweep in. Thank you for coming by and commenting on my blog ... much much appreciated. I'm wondering what you will be sharing soon - in the way of your mother being ill (I pray she's better now)and your teaching and speaking situations I love you post ... job/no job. God. Amen! Love, Jenn <><
